 In July - lots of things are going on. And suddenly our wonderful park was transformed into a construction site.

Beginning of July - The trees are being cut down. In total six trees and a number of bushes, etc. where removed from the site - in one day. We could not have done it without the help from Palle - a farmer, who was on hand to help with the right machinery - and had room for all the wood, etc. 

Mid July - Basse arrived with his excavator [gravko] to level the site.

Still Mid July... Suddenly materials arrived. The foundation was marked up [huset blev afsat på grunden] Basse started on the foundation..... We where helping a little...

And then NOTHING! Basse went on a three week vacation - and didn't turn up until mid July... Very frustrating for the house builders (read: US)who saw the construction start... only to come to a screaming halt! :-)
